Cynthia Morris Sherman known as Cindy Sherman is an American photographer, born on January, 19 1954 in Glen Ridge, New Jersey. Sherman is best known for her images that showcase her disguised self portraits that comment on social- role playing and sexual stereotypes on women. She enrolled and graduated at the State University of New York at Buffalo and majored in painting later switching her major to photography. Sherman’s best known series was her work on Untitled Films which was a series of 8 x 10 inch black and white photographs that represented Sherman in a variety of roles reminiscent to Film Noir and presented viewers with an ambiguous portrayal of woman as sex objects. Sherman continued to be models in her photographs, donning wigs and costumes that evoke images from the realms of advertising, television, film, fashion and that, in turn, challenge the cultural stereotypes supported by the media. Shifting the focal point for my image gave my image a deeper meaning and a sharper view.  Without the shift of the focal point, my picture would've been very plain and boring. When the focus was on the microscope the beads in the background were out of focus and and sort of caused a disruption for the image. However on the other hand, when the focus was on the bead the microscope didn't cause a distraction to the image even though it was blurred. The white and black setting I used for my pictures along with the focus and shift of the focal point made my picture look clearer and crisp.

To remove the blemishes, I first started by uploading the image in the Photoshop app . After the image was uploaded, I clicked on the icon that looked like a corner of a paper folded and this was the icon to create a new layer. I created a new layer for the picture and then I clicked on the right side where it said "background layer " to select it as my default layer. Then I went on to the left side and clicked on the tool that looked like a band-aid, this tool helped  to remove the blemishes. After selecting this tool I went to the top and checked next to the box that said sample all layers. After clicking that box, I went to the upper left side where there was an icon that looked like a shining circle with a number next to it, I changed the number of the curse from 19 to 25 because it was better for me to remove the blemishes. After changing the number I clicked and dragged the curse to all the places in the girl's forehead, cheeks and chin that had pimples. By clic...
